Bespoke Lifestyles’ Information Session
Do you want to make a difference?
Come along to hear about some exciting career opportunities as the NDIS rolls out across Queensland
The NDIS is currently rolling out in Queensland to provide support for people with disability. With more people having access to funded support, there will be an increased need for people to provide this support through disability service providers and also by working directly with NDIS participants.
Do you have:
- an inherent belief in human rights and social justice and believe in the dignity of every person and their right to be treated equally.
- an genuine interest in the rights of people with disability to live lives of quality and equality
- a willingness and ability to develop a deep understanding of the person and their strengths, needs, dreams and goals.
- Enthusiastic and motivated
- A good communicator
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Positive and resourceful
If so, you may find that a career in the disability sector could be a very fulfilling one for you.
Some NDIS participants will take up the opportunity to self-manage their NDIS plans and will be looking for workers that they can engage directly either as sole traders or as employees. If you want to set up your own business, Bespoke Lifestyles can mentor you in all aspects of this.
NDIS participants will be looking for a range of supports that could include direct support in their home and in the community, coordination of their supports, administration help, lifestyle and community development, therapy, tutoring, mentoring etc.
If you are interested in exploring any of these work opportunities which would give you the chance to make a real difference in people’s lives, then come along to an information session run by Bespoke Lifestyles to discover more. Bespoke Lifestyles has been supporting people to self-direct and manage their funded supports since 2010 and has a good understanding of what participants will be looking for to enhance their lives.
