I am an active, social and easy going person.
I love being outdoors and will normally spend my days off socialising or exercising close to the river or beach.
I ride every morning and exercise most evenings.
I love cycling, music, gaming and spending time with family and friends.
I really enjoy eating out so if I have dinner at home I like to try out new recipes!
Date: January 2020- current Position: Support worker / Personal Carer
Description: I support a young man in his family home for overnight as well as full day shifts. Overnight night shifts include personal care, meal preparation and domestic assistance. Day time shifts include activities in the community. I have started learning Auslan as this young man is deaf.
Date: August 2019 – current Position: Disability Support Worker
Description: I work with a group of clients who have varying needs. I spend time with clients who have either psycho-social disabilities and some who have physical disabilities. I really enjoy seeing the difference in the quality of life experienced by my clients.
Date: July 2020-current Position: Support Worker / Personal Carer
Description: I support two young men with muscular dystrophy in their home. Responsibilities include personal care, meal preparation and assistance, and domestic assistance. I get a great sense of satisfaction knowing I have assisted someone to live the life they want to live, and know that they feel safe, supported and happy with the support they are receiving.
